The early waves fill up quickly, so be sure to register early if that's your goal! Though, don't worry if you can't make it into those, because the later waves are just as fun. If you're racing with friends, and are having a hard time getting into their wave, here's a tip-- Have them create a team on our registration website, and then you can register as a part of that team, which will automatically place you in the proper wave time! Neat, huh?

Terrain is all about community, and because of that, we LOVE seeing teams! Whether your team is three people or five hundred, we will be thrilled to see you at the events together. When the team captain registers, just have them create the team, and then everyone else will be able to join once they register. Super easy, and it allows all of you to run in the same wave without any further hassle or worry.

You can check your gear for $5 (paid at the event). We will keep it clean while you get dirty.

The only packet pickup is on race day before the event. Gates open at 7:00am.

You can pick up your friend's packet but you must have a printed copy of their Check-In Ticket.

Please arrive 1 hour before your wave start time to allow time to get your packet race morning.

Parking will be $15 - $25 depending on the different venues. Make sure and carpool so you can save a little money!

Had a great time on course, but still not ready to go home yet? Perfect! We'd love to hang out with you for a while. In our festival area, you'll have plenty of chances to meet and interact with our various sponsors (many of whom have free stuff to give you!), eat plenty of delicious food in order to rebuild and refuel your body after what you put it through on the course, or just kick back with a beer and reminisce about how much fun you had during your race. There will be plenty of music, fellowship, and some fun competitions where you might be able to win some free merchandise or even a free race! Every day is a new adventure, so come out and see for yourself!

While we strive to create an event that would be worthy of spectators enthusiastically paying to see it, we're excited to stay that there is NO CHARGE for spectators. That's right-- Your friends and family can all come watch your moment of triumph without paying a single cent to cheer you on as you cross the finish. They'll have a great time watching you race, but they're also fully welcome to enjoy themselves in the festival area as well. Who knows? If they're really nice, they might even pick up your food and have it waiting at the finish line. (But hey, you've got to discuss that with them. See how much they love you, ya know?)

No community would be complete without taking care of the next generation, so we're always thrilled to have the youngsters out here with us.

While you must be at least 14 years old to run the 5k course by yourself, children aged 7-13 are fully welcome and encouraged to run the 5k with a parent or guardian.

And then for the crowd of 2 to 10 year olds, we have the Mini Monkey course, which is a half mile scaled-down version of our adult course, but made kid sized! The kids have an absolute blast with it, and they even get their own medal at the finish! Registration will be available with posted start times when you arrive to the venue on race day.
